Maria Blicharska Martin-Lacroix

Founder of the French company Blick Productions in Paris (2015) and the Polish company, Donten & Lacroix Films in Warsaw (2006), Maria has graduated from Arts Management and Literature at the Jagiellonian University, she also studied at the European School of Business in Strasbourg, WRiTV in Poland, Filmakademie Bade-Wurtemberg in Germany and La Fémis in France. She started her career in 2002 as production manager working for European companies, as well as for the S.Spielberg Shoah Foundation in the USA. Between 2006 and 2008, she worked alongside Margaret Menegoz at the legendary production house Les Films du Losange, producer of Oscar Awarded A. Wajda, M. Haneke.

Her recent producer’s filmography includes: Disco Boy by G.Abruzzese (2023), Anatolian Leopard by E.Kayis (Toronto Fipresci Award 2021), Frost by S.Bartas (Director’s Fortnight Cannes 2017), Strange Birds by E.Girard (Berlinale 2017) and Raging Rose by J.Kowalski (ACID Cannes 2015).

Maria is a member of European Film Academy, Ace Producers, EAVE, Eurodoc, German-French Filmakademy, le SPI, KIPA, Producers Guild of Poland PGP.
