Inside the Ravensbrück concentration camp, one hundredthousand women from forty- two different nations live together – the camp brings out the best and the worst in each of them. This is the story of four of these women:
Gertrud, a German delinquent who gets promoted to supervisor, allowing herself to slip further and further into brutality in order to stay alive and protect her daughter.
Leah, a Jewish medicine student who survives using her individual value as a nurse and avoiding moral questions.
Aga is a “rabbit” – one of the Polish women who suffer sadistic experiments by the SS doctors.
And finally, Mar – a Catalan revolutionist committed to resistance, who must prioritize responsibilities.
How to retain humanity in this extreme situation is the question that each of them will answer in their own way.
